Current obsession: Sherlock

22/03/2014

Even though exams are knocking at the door and I have to study hard, I recently started watching a new TV series, which I am certain that many of you are already watching: Sherlock. A lot of my friends recommended it to me and I decided to give it a shot. And I loved it!

Although every episode is almost 2 hours long, there only 3 seasons with 3 episodes each :/ However, the show is really worth it with its dramatic and extremely interesting plot, which has been greatly adapted from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to our modern times. And what should I say about Mr. Holmes: oh my god!!! Benedict Cumberbatch plays the role perfectly!

So, as you see I'm being pretty enthusiastic about the show, which means I am definitely recommending it to you and you should DEFINITELY watch it! As soon as possible!!! For those of you, who have already watched it: what do you guys think? Let me know in the comment box because I would love to have a discussion about Sherlock! Have a great day!

S.H.O.E.S. Exhibition

21/03/2014

Hey, guys! This weekend I went to a great exhibition in one of the best art museums in Rotterdam: Kunsthal. The exhibition was called S.H.O.E.S. (Sexy Heels Or Easy Sandals) and guess what it was about shoes and WHO DOESN'T LOVE SHOES?!?! There were more than 500 shoes of all kinds, dating back from the 1900, some of which were designed by various super famous designers such as Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin. Moreover, next to them many new young talents were given the opportunity to exhibit their work as well.

Everyone, who is interested in fashion and is a shoe lover like me should definitely visit this exhibition! I was stunned by the huge amount of shoes from all kinds: high-heels, sandals, pumps, slippers, boots, even DUTCH CLOGS that were made into high-heels?!?! Not only that but the some of the shoes from the collection '12 shoes for 12 lovers' by Sebastian Errazutiz were also featured and I am telling you they were amazing! Also, the futuristic shoes from United Nude were just stunning, I am in love with all of those weird designs but especially the Fang Shoe!! Just amazing!

What do you guys think of this exhibition and the presented shoes? Did anyone of you go to this or a similar one?
Comment below :) I wish you a great day!
